Private Shopping Sessions for Dog Reactive Dogs at Four Your Paws Only.

We are very excited to offer Private Shopping Sessions for dog reactive dogs and their owners.
We know that there are so many nice dogs out there who do not get the chance to experience very much outside of their homes because they are nervous around other dogs, or they do not get along well with other dogs.

Our 30-minute private shopping sessions allow a dog and their owner to come into a quiet, stress-free environment to sniff, explore and shop with us without the worry of another dog coming in.

Having dog reactive dogs ourselves, we understand how isolating and restricting their lives can be. Just think about how enrichening this would be for them - no more stress and anxiety trying to fit them for a harness or a coat, just a calm and personalized shopping experience for you and your best friend.

 

What to expect:

You and your dog will be welcomed with a warm smile by one of our staff members who will also be your personal shopping assistant during your scheduled appointment.

 If you prefer to shop alone with your dog, they will keep their distance but will still be available to answer any questions you may have.

Your dog will be treated to one of our Gourmet Biscuits from our Pet Bakery – you get to choose which flavor!

Calm, soothing music will be playing and for 30 minutes you will have the whole place to yourselves before the next dog arrives for their appointment.

 

Who is eligible?

Our private shopping sessions are available to dog reactive, nervous or shy dogs.

Your dog MUST BE friendly with people. No exceptions.

Dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations.

 

How do I book an appointment?

Private Shopping Sessions are available on the first weekend of each month. Due to the limited number of sessions, the deadline to make an appointment is the Thursday prior to that weekend.

Because our store is very busy during regular business hours, we will open early and offer two early morning appointments.

• First session - 7:30am
• Second session - 8:00am

There is a $15.00 non-refundable deposit for each 30-minute private shopping session. This deposit will be rolled over into a credit toward your purchase.

Please arrive a few minutes early for your appointment so that we can stay on schedule.  If you are late, it will shorten your visit.

If you are booked for the first session, please keep in mind that you have 30 minutes to shop and that the next dog will be outside waiting to come in for their appointment.

If you are booked for the second session, please wait in your car and we will call you when the dog ahead of you has exited the building.

Cancellation Policy & No Shows

If we need to cancel your appointment due to weather conditions, we will call you the day before to reschedule.

If you cancel or do not show up for your appointment, the $15 deposit is non-refundable.
